Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala incorporated for the implementation of the Kochi Metro Rail project and for its projects.
The construction activities of Phase II works of KMRL, from JLN Stadium Metro Station to Info Park covering approx. 12 km and having 12 stations is commencing soon and for the same
KMRL intends to fill up the following post:-
1. Junior Engineer (S1)/ Assistant Section Engineer (S2) –Power & Traction
Name of the Post:- Junior Engineer – Power & Traction (S1) OR Assistant Section Engineer – Power & Traction (S2)
Total no. of Posts Three (3)
Grade/ Pay scale S1, Rs 33750-94400 (IDA)
S2, Rs.35000-99700(IDA)
Type of Recruitment On contract basis for a period of three years extendable for further period of two years based on the satisfactory performance and requirement
Qualification:- B.Tech/B.E or Three Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Experience For Junior Engineer- Minimum 3 Years of Post
Qualification experience in installation, testing & commissioning of Power & Traction equipment’s in Railway/Metro systems.
For Asst. Section Engineer – Minimum 5 Years of post-
qualification experience in, installation,
testing & commissioning of Power & Traction equipment’s in Railway/Metro systems.
Maximum Age Limit (as on 1st May 2023)
30 Years for Junior Engineer/
32 Years for Asst. Section Engineer (Age relaxation applicable as per reservation rules)

KMRL reserves the right to shortlist the applicants for Interview.

Applicants employed in Govt. /Quasi Govt. / PSUs shall produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of interview.
Candidates from PSU/Govt. Organizations should be presently working in the equivalent grade/its equivalent scale or in the immediate lower grade/its equivalent
scale and proof thereof shall b submitted along with application or at the time of interview.
Acceptance or rejection of application of the candidates will b at the sole discretion of the Management. Incomplete applications are liable to b rejected.
KMRL management reserves the right to cancel or amend this advertisement.
Applications of candidates attempting to influence or interfere with the selection process will b rejected summarily and he/she will be declared disqualified for future vacancies in KMRL.
No TA/DA will b paid by KMRL to candidates for attending the selection process.
