Job Description
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar is inviting applications for the position of Director. The Director will serve as the academic and administrative head of the institution and is expected to possess proven administrative, teaching, and research background, including significant experience in research guidance at the Ph.D. level, along with strong leadership qualities.
Terms of Appointment
The appointment will be on a contract basis for a term of five years or until the age of 70, whichever comes first.

– Candidates should have a distinguished academic and research record.
– Experience in guiding Ph.D. research is essential.
– Leadership skills and administrative experience are required.
