Position Available: Jr. Grade Nurse, Laboratory Assistant
Eligibility Criteria:
- Jr. Grade Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery/B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution/State Medical Faculty/J&K Paramedical council.
- Laboratory Assistant: 10+2 with science or above qualification with a minimum diploma in Laboratory Assistant course or a Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology Course from a recognized institution/State Medical Faculty/J&K Paramedical council.
Number of Posts: 50 Jr. Grade Nurse, 10 Laboratory Assistant
Period: Initially for one year or until posts are filled regularly
Salary: As per the minimum pay scale
Age: Between 18 and 63 years
Nature of Engagement: Academic Arrangement Basis

In case any post of the aforesaid categories gets filled up on regular basis during the
intervening period from the date of issuance of notification to the date of selection, such
posts shall be deemed to have been withdrawn/deleted from the notification and the final
selection shall be made as per availability of posts of the time of selection. - In case of tie in the merit obtained in the written test, the following procedures shall be
followed to break the tie.
a. In case of tie between two or more Graduates, the candidate having secured
higher percentage of marks in Graduation will be preferred.

c. In case of tie between Diploma holders, the candidate having higher
percentage of marks in the Diploma Course will be preferred.
