J&K District Sheep Husbandry Office – Advertisement for Establishment of Sheep Unit
Scheme Overview:
The J&K District Sheep Husbandry Office has released an advertisement inviting applications for the establishment of Sheep units in District Anantnag. Interested Individuals, groups, Self-help groups, Cooperative Societies, and Farmer-Producer Organizations are encouraged to apply for the following units:
- Establishment of 10 ewes units on Participatory mode
- Establishment of 20 Ewes Units on 50% subsidy, under ISDS
- Establishment of Machine Shearing Units on 50% subsidy, under ISDS

- Commencement of issuance of application forms: 14-03-2024
- Last date for submission of applications: 25-03-2024
- How to Apply:
- Applications can be received/submitted to the offices of the Veterinary Assistant Surgeons/Sheep Development Blocks of the District Anantnag from 14-03-2024 to 25-03-2024 during office hours on all working days.
- Documents Required:
- Self-attested copies of:
- Aadhaar Card
- Ration Card
- Pan Card (only for Subsidy Units under ISDS)
- Catalog Bank Account Holder
- Physical Fitness certificate (only for Machine Shearing units under ISDS)
