The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Government of India, Ministry of Defence, is inviting applications for various Medical, Para-Medical, and Non-Medical staff positions. These contract positions are for the ECHS Polyclinic in Srinagar and are based on a contract period of one year, which may be renewed for an additional year or until the maximum age limit is reached, depending on the candidate’s performance and other conditions.
Available Positions and Requirements:
Medical Officer
- Vacancy: 01
- Qualification:
- MBBS
- Minimum 5 years of work experience post-internship
- Preferable additional qualification in Medicine/Surgery
- Computer qualifications
- Remuneration: ₹75,000/-
Lab Technician
- Vacancy: 01
- Qualification:
- B.Sc. (Med Lab Technician) OR
- 10+2 with Science and Diploma in Med Lab Technician
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Lab Assistant in Medical Lab
- Remuneration: ₹28,100/-
Dental Hygienist
- Vacancy: 01
- Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 with Science
- Two years diploma in Dental Hygienist/Dental Mechanic
- Registered with Dental Council of India
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Remuneration: Fixed per government rates
Pharmacist
- Vacancy: 01
- Qualification:
- BPharma or approved Diploma in Pharmacy
- Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Remuneration: ₹28,100/-

The completed application in the prescribed format, along with self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications and work experience, should be submitted in duplicate to OIC, Stn HQ (ECHS Cell), Srinagar by 30 April 2024. Late applications won’t be considered.
Selection Process:
The interview date, time, and venue will be communicated personally via email or SMS. Candidates must bring all original certificates and mark sheets for verification during the interview. No travel or dearness allowances will be provided.

- Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen.
- The last date for receipt of applications is 30 April 2024.
- Selected individuals must undergo 10 days of On Job Training (OJT) and obtain a certificate from the OIC Polyclinic.
