Cluster University of Srinagar – Vice-Chancellor Position Open
Cluster University of Srinagar is currently inviting applications for the eminent position of Vice-Chancellor. The successful candidate will serve as both the academic and administrative head of the university.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Highest level of academic credentials required.
- Proven administrative competence, integrity, morals, and institutional commitment are essential.
- Visionary leader with demonstrated leadership qualities, teaching, and research experience.
- Candidates must have an outstanding academic record and at least 10 years of experience as a Professor in a University system or an equivalent role in a reputed research and/or academic/administrative organization.
- Applicants should not be more than 65 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Salary and Service Conditions:
- The appointed Vice-Chancellor will receive a salary of Rs. 2,10,000 (fixed) per month along with a special allowance of Rs. 11,250 and other customary allowances.
- Service conditions will adhere to the University’s Act, Statutes, and Regulations.
Appointment Process:
- The selection procedure will be conducted by a committee as constituted under the Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Universities Act, 2016.
- The panel will recommend candidates from which an appointment will be made.
